There is a process for detaching a painting from a wooden panel and attaching it to a canvas. In the past this process has been looked down on because of possible damage to the painting.  I have as of yet to see the technique outlined. You can help me google for more info.

Rimma Gerlovina and Valeriy Gerlovin are a man an woman couple. A lot of their photography work involves her hair and the symbolism it provides. I've added some images I found on the internet.

The test over chapter # 1 went very well for everybody. Let's keep up that average and strive for even better.
Remember to read the chapter, study your notes, be sure you know everything on the review, memorize, and study the images.
Don't get too proud because you will find the successive tests only get a little more intense. Check out the images page for Chapter 2a.

Purchase the textbook, Understanding Art by Fischner-Rathus, and the supplies bag as well as 9 long scan trons. You will also need a pencil, untra-fine point sharpie marker in black or a dark color, and a ruler.
